Joker without makeup .

thats really disrespectful.. he was clearly injured in some sort of way may it be war or what have you, he is probably so depressed his face is scarred like this, he has to wake up everyday seeing this his own face, why would you make fun of him like this? fuck off.

^

seriously, anyone who would make fun of this is just fucked up. i actually think he’s still more attractive than like half the guys out there, even with his face like this

you guys do realize that this literally is the joker without makeup? this is heath ledger in The Dark Knight, in a scene where he’s hiding in a group of policemen.

oh thats awkward

Tune in next time for another episode of I Don’t Think You Actually Watched that Movie.

First Look at Miyazaki’s New Manga

The 72-year-old legend, Hayao Miyazaki, has said to retire after his latest film, The Wind Rises, releases. Well, The Wind Rises was released in June of Japan and will release early next year in the United States, but it seems like Miyazaki is enjoying his “retirement,” by working on something new: a manga based off of samurai in the Warring States era of Japan. No word on this manga releasing soon, but it’s a promising bit of info for those wanting more from Miyazaki, post-directing!

“You’re the woman who married me.”

#and from the far left you hear the haters rise: #’THEY’RE NOT EVEN MARRIED’#’SHE’S A MARY SUE’ #’THE DOCTOR DOESN’T LOVE HER’ #but from the river of their salty tears i rise with this gif set displayed proudly in my hands #’here. go forth and sail de nile for your logic is no longer welcome here.’ #the end.

#And the best one of all

This doesn’t change the fact that she’s a Mary Sue.

No, what changes the “fact” that she is a Mary Sue is that she’s a complex character with visible, immense character growth, who is amazing, but flawed. And frankly, most of the things people cite as “Mary Sue”-ish are essentially characteristics she either shares with Jack Harkness or the Doctor himself. Some people seem to be unable to handle a confident, sexual, smart, and talented female character. Go figure.

I wish people would stop using the term “Mary Sue” to indicate that they simply don’t like a fictional woman. It’s not only wrong 99% of the time, it’s also a sign of laziness.
